John Harper

John Harper

Hearing Instrument Specialist

Raised in a very small town in Northwest Ohio, John Harper was ready by the end of 2001 to venture out. Family drew him to the Central Florida area where he fell in love with everything Florida. He was eventually introduced to the world of hearing through a family member working in the industry. With his love of electronics and computers, learning about hearing solutions and their technology seemed a natural fit.

Fast forward a few years, and he has now transitioned from a trainee to a trainer. He believes in spending significant time with people when it comes to the testing, teaching, and treatment of their hearing challenges. A lot can be achieved when the provider simply takes the time necessary to treat each person like the unique situation they really are. His patients are the ones that speak for the success. The end result can be heard by hundreds of ears with a smile between them.

Woody Alexander

Woody Alexander

Woody has made helping the hearing impaired community his lifes work. After a busy career in corporate America, he had the opportunity take a one year sabbatical which he used for his residency training in hearing clinics in California and Louisiana while preparing for his board certification and licensure examinations.

Participating in mission trips has been a part of Woody’s service to the hearing impaired on a global scale, Woody has been a part of “So The World May Hear” mission trips to Mexico, Haiti, and in 2017: Cuba, focusing on helping children who would rarely, if ever have the ability to be seen by a hearing specialist nor the ability to afford hearing aids. This service work has been highlighted on the “Making a Difference” segment on NBC Nightly News, and is an on-going activity supported by Beyond Hearing through the donation of time, resources, and finances.
